Come hear local children's book author Tania DeGregorio read her book Skydancer for a special story time at the Oak Grove Stage from 11:30 am to 11:55 am during the Roots & Wings Festival Celebration at Zilker Botanical Garden.

Skydancer is a brilliantly illustrated adventure story about a young monarch named Aria. Aria and her friends navigate from the northern U.S. for over 3,000 miles~ all the way to the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico. Overcoming many obstacles such as deforestation, hunger and harsh weather, they work together to overcome their fear and arrive at their new home among the tall trees in the Oyamel Fir Forest in southern Mexico.


Meet the Author, Tania DeGregorio!

Tania DeGregorio is a writer, world traveller, hiker, nature lover, music junkie & voracious eater of tacos and all things spice. She is the publisher and author of Skydancer, with more books on the way! Always plotting her next adventure~ Tania lives with her son, Max and their always curious cat, Stripe, in Austin, Texas.
