The Birdability Map is a crowdsourced map that describes in detail the accessibility features of birding locations all over the world. It is a work-in-progress, and anyone can contribute to it by submitting a Birdability Site Review.

Fruitful Commons has provided a pre-recorded deep dive panel session with local diversity, equity and inclusion experts to help gardeners and other naturalists like you to learn creative and effective ways to pollinate and root with all of Austin’s Communities.

Equity in the outdoors has serious implications for so many Austin residents’ access to nature, participation in recreation activities, and opportunities to advance in green jobs. Key City of Austin Parks & Recreation and Equity Office staff, as well as community partners will discuss the goals and challenges of racial equity work, current initiatives, and why it’s so important for residents to be aware and engaged in this effort.
