Roots, Wings and Pumpkins all come together for the Pumpkin Carver & Fall Fun and Fungi!
During the annual Pumpkin Carver event, this special event will welcome children and adults alike to share the beauty of Fall gardening and horticulture. It will begin with a Storytime featuring the book, “The Secret Garden of George Washington Carver.” Throughout the day, we will be activating the garden with horticultural activities including planting a butterfly garden and a shade garden, and planting understory trees and fruit trees in the miniature children’s fairy garden.
We will also give away free culinary mushroom blocks from Texas Mycological Society and free trees from Tree Folks!
We encourage the community to come out and celebrate with Carver Museum! And don’t forget to carve your pumpkin while you’re there!
