An official Roots & Wings Pop-Up Event!

Learn about the North Lamar International District’s Food Forest while celebrating nature! Through educational materials, engaging hands-on activities, and a series of expert speakers, you can explore topics ranging from caring for freeze-damaged trees and proper pruning techniques to ways to support pollinators and timely yard care tips.

This is a family-friendly event with seed ball making, nature-themed arts & crafts, yard games, snacks, and tree trivia! There will free, 5-gallon native trees given away from the Neighborwoods program (while supplies last) and certified arborist, Jason Derks, will be speaking at 11:30am. 


COVID-19 Protocols

This event will take place outdoors. Social distancing and masking are encouraged.
